Bonus Features

As well as being the most comprehensive chord reference available for mobile phones, ChordGenie includes several bonus features that automatically become enabled when ChordGenie is installed on a compatible device.

The bonus features are the Metronome, Pitch Pipe tuner, and the Hear Chord feature that allows you to hear how the selected chord fingering sounds.

To use the bonus features, your mobile phone must include something called the Mobile Media API. Look out for either MIDP 2.0, JSR135, MMAPI, or JTWI 1.0 in your phone's specification. Alternatively, download ChordGenie to your phone and select Tools from the main menu. If you see Metronome and Pitch pipe on the Tools menu, this means the MMAPI sound capability has been detected in your phone.
